PRIME Cymru are so pleased to have been awarded the Green Mark Level 2 accreditation, an internationally recognised environmental certification.
The mark assures all clients, partners and employees that the charity performs to high environmental standards, integrating green practices into all areas of business.
To receive the accreditation, PRIME Cymru submitted information about the organisation, answering questions and providing supporting evidence, which was then reviewed by an auditor. Green Mark created a framework to ensure they could monitor and reduce emissions going forward.
PRIME Cymru’s environmental policies include minimising our carbon footprint wherever possible, such as reducing mileage, recycling and repairing before replacing and sourcing renewable electricity.
Chief Executive, David Pugh, said: “It is important to us that our operations limit the negative impact we can have on our environment.
We recognise that we all have a responsibility to nurture our environment and it’s fantastic that we can now reassure our partners and stakeholders of our commitment to working greener.”
