Watch this space – new production company coming soon to North Wales!

Daf Palfrey has been working in the Film and TV industry for 25 years as a scriptwriter, director and producer. 

He has worked on shows such as Casualty, Fear Thy Neighbour and the BAFTA-winning history programme, Hei Hanes! 

After a 10 year stint in Canada, Daf returned to Wales. He now plans to set up his own production company, alongside his work lecturing on screenwriting at the University of Bangor. 

After searching online for help with starting a company, Daf came across PRIME Cymru. He was matched with business mentor, Nick Bradley, who is supporting him with his new venture.  

Daf said: “Nick’s helped me to focus ideas and put me in touch with the right people. He provides accountability which has really helped to push things forward.” 

Daf’s next step is to find a premises for his new company. He hopes to create a collaborative space in North Wales for likeminded people to create film, music and illustrations.
